Wonderful small hotel with very polite and motivated staff members who set a standard for customer service. Amazing, wonderful location short walk to Camara de Lobos, both Madeira and pastana ocean bay and the gardens. Also, right on the beach at Praia Formosa.

The hotel was fairly clean and pleasant, had excellent views to both sunrise and sunset. The property's location was secluded, to the old town area of Funchal. It was also adjacent to city center of Funchal, anybody and the centre of Funchal.

The pool was nice and I had free soft drinks in the main bar. Hotel’s breakfast was nice hot with fish dishes and meat, as for instance and could satisfy any taste. The location was fantastic, so close to a city bus around the island, stony beach, and CR7 Museum.

Came here for 7 nights with my son, had a real good stay. I got a nice size and recently refurbished classic room with a great view as an upgrade, nice gesture. All the employees were responsive and especially helpful. Location of hotel was best possible and the shuttle into town was a big plus.
The setting was a bit remote.

Being adjacent to a bus stop was a bonus. Don't pass this hotel up if you plan to visit cabo girao.
